Overview animation

Animation, as an application of computer technology, is highly creative and effective. It has not only opened up new technological directions but has also significantly enhanced entertainment aspects. Animation is a field commonly associated with creating 3D characters. At its core, animation involves displaying a sequence of images in a specific order to create the illusion of motion, often using 2D models arranged to simulate movement. This effect is due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, which creates an optical illusion, resulting in animation.

Animation is utilized in various mediums, ranging from flipbooks to motion pictures. Animation is classified into various types; full animation is among the most widely used forms.

Rubber hose animation is a style where characters are depicted in a cartoonish manner, allowing creators the freedom to experiment with character designs as they see fit. For example, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck were created using this particular style of animation.
